Members of 21 Signal Regiment serving in Afghanistan have taken time out from their normal duties to raise money for a school in Kabul. The unit has been fundraising to help a number of children's projects within the Afghan capital, by providing school supplies and medical equipment.
Over the past three months, 21 Signal Regiment have raised more than $3000 to help projects across Kabul.
They include the Women's Education Centre, which teaches more than 250 boys and girls from the capital.
This is excellent!! I must congratulate BFN for bringing this. But why can't this sort of news not be transmitted on the mainstream TV news? That is surely where it is most important? Isn't it? Thats what I would have thought anyway! But well done to the guys!!
