"Don't Hit a Superhero with a Car"

Made using four of the tutorials provided by Andrew Kramer and videocopilot.net, this is my film made to combine all of them into a somewhat coherent story. Within this film there is a valuable life lesson we all should learn. Watch, enjoy, and subscribe...there will definitely be more where this came from!

Also to keep in mind, this was made with just two people, a camera, and a tripod.

Tutorials and more will be up on my site: ryanturnerproductions.com

  • I think that you did a good job on this video.

Though there are some issues in it, it is still a good job.

For those that are knocking on this video, please provide a better demostration of these effects to share with the community.

It is really bad when people comment badly on a video, but yet, they do not have any demostration up on their on channel.

    Good Luck Jugador12

  • @darkeffectstv thanks! Be sure to check out my more recent videos which are all at a much higher level than this one

  • I like how you used alot of differant video copilot tutorilas and put them in to one video production. It looks pretty good.

  • but...the superhero face still disfigured!

  • @Jugador12

    Will do, Take care

  • @k3ym4st3r My first response was more a response to your first comment which provided no constructive criticism whatsoever. These videos are made because I figured if I was going to take the time to take tutorials on videocopilot I might as well have some sort of video to show for it. I wasn't worried about making a cinematic masterpiece, just a fun video that combines some tutorials You seemed to be attacking my ability personally which led me to bringing up my actual professionally done videos

  • @k3ym4st3r I don't even think we are discussing anything we said to each other, the one that didn't understand my comment was Robertcod4. You obviously know why you lacked in some points doing this video, and that's the start to fix all problems. Still as a constructive criticism do some establishing shots, not everyone has in their mind what you had when you wrote the video. I tell you this by first hand experience. ;-)

  • @Jugador12 I commented on this video, I don't need to see other videos since they don't have anything to do with the quality on this one. "Changing anything color-wise in post IS color correcting" Well I guess we're talking about just doing it as opposed to do it properly then. I you tell me you has problems 'cause you were holding a green screen and those kind of things I can understand, I just commented on the result. And of course not anyone has a whole crew to film a short.

  • @k3ym4st3r What are you even trying to say? I made this in my spare time almost 3 years ago with just a friend and a tripod. I had to go from handheld to tripod in the shot he gets hit because I'm holding up the green screen behind him and couldn't hold the camera. Color correcting is a subjective form. Changing anything color-wise in post IS color correcting whether you like the result or not. And "look up Scene Geography"? Look up my other movies before you assume I have no idea what I'm doing

  • @Jugador12 Well If he didn't make the video I guess he shouldn't be answering me. I say that's not a proper color correction. Look up color timing and color correction to learn those techniques, dropping a VideoCopilot auto correct isn't color correcting. And while you're at it look up Scene Geography... In short, because I guess you don't like to read: Scene geography is a shot or series of shots establishing where people are in relation to each other or key elements of the scene.

  • @k3ym4st3r take criticism? He didn't make the movie so why would he need to take criticism? "No color correction" is a criticism? Giving I color corrected it myself that's a false statement "No sense into why this guy goes and comes back?" If you didn't notice, it rewinds back to the point when he's hit. Then plays out again. It's okay if you didn't understand the way it plays out, but don't pretend like you are giving anything close to proper criticism

  • @robertcod4 Obviously, I can't and don't want to do any of that! I prefer to do things properly, and I can see by your answer you are never going to improve since you don't know how to take criticism and are really confused about the relation between sex practices and visual fx for some reason... Grow up and buy a dictionary. please.
