@Ryans1reason Similarly , in Da Vinci Code The Novel Silas was A Frenchman who , while FLUENT in French and English , explained to Spaniard Aringarosa he KNEW NO Spanish ! In The Film , Silas is portrayed by Brit Paul Bettany as A Spaniard ( which ACTUALLY makes MORE Sense as Albinos ARE MORE Common in Spain than France )and speaks SEVERAL Lines of Spanish !

@Ryans1reason When Ewan was cast , The Name and Nationality were changed from Italian Carlo Ventresca to Northern Irish Patrick McKenna to make it easier for Ewan who`s Scottish to portray The Character as Scotland and Northern Ireland are BOTH Gaelic Countries in The United Kingdom FAIRLY close to eachother ! This was ALSO part of Howard and Grazer`s Efforts to diversify The Cast of Characters as Da Vinci Code had MAINLY French Characters while Angels & Demons had MAINLY Italian & Swiss !

WHO EVER DISLIKED THIS MUST DIE!!!!!!!!!! jk. but still. this was seriously one of the best films ive seen in a long while. god, i love him. i watched it mostly cause i found out ewan was in it, and i loved him, he was the most handsome and passionate camerlengo ever, but i found i really enjoyed the film. little gory, but very cool.

@ChrisBuckethead becos in the book he is italian but they changed him to being irish in the film as they thought it would be easier for ewan i think, so his named changed to patrick mckenna :)

he was AMAZING in Angels & Demons, i cried in the end :'( he was AMAAAAAAAZING, dont wanna give anything away, but omg, he saved the woorld, and then found out he did "something bad" then he :'( omg.
