A new time-lapse from the Panama Canal. Shot on a Nikon D800 in the rain. Shot in raw and developed in Adobe Camera Raw. Post processed with adjustment layers in Adobe After Effects.

This is great! I've been looking for some information on how to do time lapse over a sunrise/sunset. Do you by chance know what the best method for capturing something like that with just a DSLR and an intervalometer?

Tough. Shoot Raw helps, but you need an intervolumter that lets you program a smooth change in exposure.

try canon with magic lantern, it has settings for ramping the exposure.

Good job! Just posted a time lapse of the Lachine Canal, not using my DSLR but my iPhone.

Results vary, but at times in 1080p, they can be very good and the app does it all for you in seconds. Check out some of the results on my channel. Thanks for posting.
