  • @Technopunkster to draft off the peleton you have to keep up with the peloton...don't underestimate how fit these guys are...they're cycling animals and they eat the road. I don't know what cycling level you are, but I'm a club cyclist and know how hard it is to go above 20mph for 100miles.

  • Techno... Any fit cyclist could do 200 km a day during 3 weeks... yeah right. Im sure you could be in top 50 in the TDF...you just chose not to. Ridiculous !

  • this is why i gave up on the tour de france. cause most these guys are not racing to win. they are just there to play 'follow the leader'. and draft most of the race.

anyone can race the tour de france and draft off the peleton. nothing exciting. in fact I would say any fit cyclist could keep up with these 200 'elites'...

  • He supported Alberto by letting him at Annecy stage without a team car to carry him to start line!

Lance family and friends needed Alberto's car.

Lance never helped Alberto on that TDF despite being the 3rd or probably 4th within Astana team (Alberton Kloden, Levi...and then Lance)

  • He clearly wasn't very supportive of alberto early on eh? But he was towards the end I think.

  • Why did he take the team, and the sport director away from Contador, if he's such a team player then? He doesn't want the new star to have success and the capability to beat seven tours.( Im sorry but Lance, isn't no good man in allot of peoples eyes. He showed poor sportsmanship.)

( Thanks for keeping your comment clean. I respect that.)

  • @trakomako The so called boss ended up working for the miget...And the miget turned out to be far superior.

    Go figure!

  • So Lance you said "We support the best one" : The best one was clearly Contador after Monaco.. isn't it?

    Did you forget your words?

  • damn right!
