Prince is through and through an artist, a musician. He bleeds music, it's what he lives for and what he does. And he's the greatest musician the world has ever seen, whether some people know it or not. He is allowed to be as arrogant as he wants to be. Sure MJ wrote a bunch of hits, but he never will even touch Prince as a musician, as an actual player of an instrument. There's a difference between a singer/songwriter and an actual musician. Especially one that plays 30 instruments

@beatmakersuniversity 'Musicology' was SHITE very unoriginal & uncreative too, he could have done it in his sleep 20 years earlier. Nobody cares what he releases these days, other than some die hard fans. His last really good album was Sign of THe Times and that was 25 years ago, he just hasn't got it anymore , he can still cut it live but as a recording artist today he is utterly irrelevant & insignificant, writing dull medicre stuff.

REAL music is a hell of a lot more important than anything else in the world..and that includes selling meaningless one-hit trash "artists" that have no depth or musical ability at all besides singing and dancing.Prince doesn't want to appeal to the general public, because it's completely, utterly musically RETARDED.He wants to create deep, meaningful, incredible art. Michael, Gaga, Bieber, etc.. sell-outs who make generic crap that appeals to idiots (i.e. 90% of the general public)
