Unboxing and powering up the Motorola Lapdock 100 for my Sprint Motorola Photon 4G. Showing off the specs and how to set it up.

High definition 10.1" screen
Larger keyboard for lengthy emails and docs
Access your phone and the web on one screen
Internet everywhere - with or without WiFi
Slim and lightweight
Works with most Motorola webtop phones
Equipped with a bright 10.1" high resolution screen, Lapdock owners can watch their favorite movie, share their photos, view multiple browser windows simultaneously and use their favorite Android applications.
Ergonomic design and dedicated Android™ keys make the keyboard perfect for typing long emails or text messages and creating and editing full documents. Work documents can be edited and shared using QuickOffice™ or Google® Docs. The touchpad allows for cursor control and two finger scrolling.
Lapdock's data connection comes from your phone, so you can stay connected with or without WiFi. Whether you are at home and saving on your data plan with WiFi, or on the go and using your phone's 4G speed, you'll always stay connected to calls, texts and the web.
Lapdock 100 supports full multi-tasking. That makes it easy to respond to an incoming text or take a call while browsing the web, viewing photos, listening to music or accessing apps.
Lapdock 100 is compatible with most Motorola webtop-enabled phones - now families with multiple phones can enjoy the full work and play experience Lapdock offers. Best of all, you will likely be able to use Lapdock with your next Motorola smartphone too.

  • I got to say when I found out about the Photon's Webtop capabilities I was thrilled! It looked like an ingenious spark of beauty. Sadly, when I saw the first method (using the dock) I was disappointed knowing I'd have to get a monitor, keyboard, mouse and the dock. All of that equals nearly $500. Then I searched around and found this laptop dock...surely, it's 1/2 the price of the first method, but it's got downfalls with me. 10" is small...I've got a laptop, so this dock is for a later time.

  • Thanks for the video I've been looking forward to this lapdock.

  • WoOoOOooOo I just found out 1 week away baby!

  • the video is great man, but I got my photon expecting something more like the dock of the motorola atrix, that cable on top looks baaaaaad!

  • Where did you get it??

  • Cool thanks for showing this video.

  • Sweet unboxing video! Nice job.
