Another Night in Northbridge: Me owning the busker and bringing the greens into his pocket

My note: I would love your criticism of me just playing around on the kit

the sound quality is shit, but your words will help me broaden my drunken horizons




Note: the man at the start was not the busker. the busker was watching with blown away eyes.


This is me just mucking around on a buskers kit after sculling a few drinks in North bridge (a well known area of Perth in Western Australia, where the ladies start the fights)

So that guy that busks drumming near the bank in Northbridge is still there? I spent a few nights with him last year. He walked around with me after he'd finished busking one night till about 5am. His real name is Ben and he's about 26. Very awesome guy, always let me have a shot at his kit. I got people dancing and cheering me on and throwing money into the case as well. Still I'm probably only a quarter as good as you were just then. Need a new kit, old one's completely out of tune.

i like confidence. i also like how you explained me watching with awestruck eyes or something like that. yes my name is ben. i was kicked out of northbridge and told that if i busked there again, my kit'd be confiscated. i am in melbourne now, biding time for a return. i spent ten years on that street with soloman and others, and i enjoyed all of it even the four times i got stabbed and countless times i was beaten up. funny they never arrested anyone that stabbed me, cameras everywhere, eh?
