Begins on April 13 with a visit by artist/singer Rhiannon. Studio construction the 15th-17th which includes a site visit by studio designer John Storyck whose firm WSDG designed the rooms ~ with Romina Larregina as site manager from his office, who worked steadily with us for 3 years. We give thanks to Beth Walters, John's wife and co-owner of Walters-Storyck Design Group, for encouraging John to take our project under their wing. In addition, we are indebted to board member Roma Baran, advisory board member Leslie Ann Jones, and wiring specialist Judy Brown for advising us on a variety of technical requirements, choices, and considerations. We simply could not be doing this without any of the team.
At this point, we are working on installing sound treatment, plumbing, and electrical which includes the
lights and outlets from "clean" power into the control rooms. No doors, windows or floors yet - that will be upcoming in the next episode. Also featured are Mark Landy, our contractor and now good friend, and Dan Tinen, IMA associate/engineer/tech advisor. Music created by June Millington (guitars, bass, and percussion) and composer Dorothy Dittrich (piano). Enjoy!

  • Thanks for posting this.I've been constructing my own small barn studio here in NH as time /$ allows me to.Just this little walk though and listening to the conversations, tip,etc are very helpful. Looks like this is going to be great place to record. Cheers.
