I am sorry to hear the news about his passing so late. My local dojo closed many years ago and while I never met this man, he was well known to us all. I wish I could take back time to take the final step of black belt just so we could of shaken hands

Train with Sensei in the late 70;s and early 80's. I recall the Tuesday night special conditoning classes they were very intense..Nelson C

Shian William Oliver was the man. I remember when he would train in his dojo he always put his old reggae music, sweat beading down his face and always shouted really loud. Every time he would execute a punch you can hear his uniform crack like a whip.
I found out a couple years ago of his passing.
I got goose bumps and i still here his reggae songs playing in my mind. R.I.P. OUS SHIAN!
