I have to toss in my 2 cents here -- Judging from the mountains in the background of the video, I will guess this is at Telluride, Colorado, Bluegrass Festival, and judging John's age here, sometime in the 1970s. You can read several fan blogs recalling Hartford there in those years, plus it was typical for him to to arrive playing fiddle, and walk toward the stage through the crowd like this at Telluride. Someone out there in YouTube land was at this show and will confirm this.

I attended a concert in 1972 at a place called "Aunt Minnie's Farm" over in West Virginia and I know John played there many times after that. It could possibly be where this is at.
