Gibson USA Slash Les Paul Go For The Gold Contest Entry

This Is my contest entry for the Gibson USA Slash Les Paul Goldtop. I play Don't Cry By Guns N' Roses and I hope you like it. I followed the rules completely and voting starts at www.gibson.com October 15, 2008. Slash and his music has been a really important part of my life. His music has changed the way I see and play guitar. The first Slash song I heard was Don't Cry and that was played on the Gibson Les Paul Goldtop. Hearing that one song has changed my life and my playing in guitar. So playing on the same guitar Slash used for creating that song will change my life and will push me further into guitar to hopefully be as good as Slash himself someday and change some kids view on guitar with one song. Thank You

well all the guys that got nominated didnt really play guitar at all if any and it was all doing something not guitar related or with alot of production into it like making a mini movie. nothing really related to guitar at all. So if I knew that i would have made a small movie and tossed in the words gold gibson slash and les paul ocassionally. that would have most likely been nominated too.

i think for a 15 year old kid, who was found abandoned and then adopted and you taught yourself to play, you did excellent and the gold top contest that picked a kid who set himself on fire sux.

slash use to play good but is getting old and makes a lot of mistakes now.
