101 Solutions to Global Climate Change

"We don't need more people on planet earth." -- That understatement is the only mention he makes of core problem. The most effective, least expensive way to reduce anthropogenic pollution and to slow the depletion rate of non-renewable resources, is never discussed. Reducing the world population by 1 billion by 2050, would have more positive effect than all 101 solutions combined. Just 50 years ago the pop was less than half what it is today; it was 1 billion when T. Malthus warned us.

@jdtrickster4 not to mention that plant life kinda lives off the CO2 we exhale >.>

Meanwhile the sustainability movement will continue to grow and become mainstream and leave the most blind behind.

Guy Dauncey is inspiring. The AGW climate denier movement is becoming more shrill as their lies are exposed and their false logic falls away. Soon they will reach a frenzy before they finally start to die out. I'm guessing about another 5-10 years and AGW will become self-evident to all but the most blind.

BRAVO! I am sick of politically correct conservatives who oppose anyone discussing mandatory castrations for most men, which I fully support and have done so since 1980.

Different organisms will have different opinions about that.

This view is correct I believe.

I'm vegan, but what you're saying is not right!

We need to reduce population immediately. I fully support torturing and executing any non-vegan religionists and any non-vegan Republicrats and Demopublicans here in the US, as well as non-vegan religionists abroad. In the US, any who had the chance (e.g. not prisoners) who could have voted for Ralph Nader but didn't should be exterminated first.
99.99% of people are subhuman garbage and will not change unless forced to with this level of severity.
Watch The Truth About Global Warming.
I know we humans are bad. We produce so much CO2. The OCEANS cause over 90% of all CO2. Volcanoes produce more CO2 than all industry & vehicles combined. The most abundant green- house gas is WATER VAPOR. CO2 accounts for less than 5%.
It's about a GLOBAL COAL TAX! TPTB spend $700,000 a mo. on this. Like he said, it's about POPULATION CONTROL & ultimately about EUGENICS =) The planet's been LOTS warmer without vehicles industry, & LOTS LESS people.

It's not about warmer but having more greenhouse gases than the planetary systems can absorb. The last time we had almost this much CO2 in the atmosphere, these ecosystems were overloaded and failed, causing the End-Permian extinction (dieoff of thousands of species). We can reduce our populations or earth can do it for us like last time.

So Global WARMING isn't about warmer? Did you watch the video, I suggest? What you speak of is covered very well by scientists in their respective RELATED fields. Do you realize that this is at best a theory, both the dying off of species & GW? Do you realize that Earth's populations WILL NEVER be "reduced?" Like I've always said & you did too, this is ultimately about EUGENICS. WATER VAPOR makes up almost 95% of greenhouse gases. CO2's less than 5% of GH gases; an infintesimal amt of ALL gases.

I should've said warming is one symptom among many: global climate change is about higher chaos in the system, more extreme patterns. Regardless of theories, what is the evidence? Increased chaos (and average temperatures). Species die-off is arguably primarily due to our fragmenting & destroying their habitat.

....As sobering as the IPCC report is, scientists of note are saying that the prognosis is actually significantly worse -- that the report does not even take into consideration the most recent and most troubling findings (such as this summer's record breaking arctic melt).---Climate Change Coalition

The U.N. IPCC has issued its grimmest report to date. It states unequivocally that climate change is upon us, the consequences will be serious no matter what, and to avoid calamities of an almost unimaginable scale, the world community must take draconian measures to reduce greenhouse gasses: all increases in emissions must stop within seven years, to be followed by a rigid course of sharp reductions...--Climate Change Coalition.
