Underneath A Tornado!!! (Jacksonville, FL)

Footage from underneath a confirmed EF-0 tornado in Jacksonville, FL on June 26th, 2009. It started as a waterspout on the St. Johns River, died, then reformed and moved onto land near St. Vincent's Hospital moments before passing just east of our office building. It traveled northward for about a quarter of a mile, lifting just before Interstate-10. After it passed our building, the tornado knocked down a few trees, destroying 2 cars parked underneath. It also tore up siding and shingles from houses and blew a transformer before lifting.

I just like the sound effects LOL was the Camera related to a sony, doe it have it's DNA ? I have an Altec Lansing 5.1 channel sound system and this sound good.

@soulfultenor it was shot on a Panasonic HVX. I haven't listened to the audio on a good sound system... now I'm curious!!!

why on earth did you got to zoom when you had an amazing view of the rotation — what a truly missed moment you had. Just because you have the zoom does not mean you use it all the time. You had one of the most amazing shots and didn't know it.
