This song is from the Trouble In Shangri-La demo recording session. Unfortunately it didn't make the album. I think it's because it's very dark. It is one of my very favorite demos. Sound quality is awesome. I hope you all like it as much as i do. It makes me cry when i hear it. Pictures are some things that i was playing with in photoshop. And also a few album covers that i made for my personal Stevie compilations. :)

  • Thank you :)

  • Stevie has been, is and always will be my all-time favorite musician... and I'm only 21 years old! I've loved her since I was a little girl and stole all my dad's tapes. Thanks so much for this; I love it, and it's definitely being added to my Nix-Fix playlist!!

  • @autumnrose3 Your welcome Autumn... Its always nice to see the younger generation appreciating a talent such as Stevie. It just goes to show that her artistry can plow through the generation barrier like none other.

  • Thanks Angel!

    I love you

  • Your welcome Jimmy Jam. I love you too!!

  • The piano reminds me of "Doing the Best that I can (Escape from Berlin)" from THE OTHER SIDE OF THE MIRROR album.

  • Sounds like a cheap remake of 'Doing the Best I can' really. She has enough original gems left. I wish she would record those.

  • Sounds like ('11) Chloe Grace , eerie lyrics, no? Reminds of 'Pretty Little Head' by sir Paul.

  • Silvia, please kiss me i need your lips, Lips of an angel, my angel.

  • @autumnrose3 i'm 19 and i totally know how you feel when you tell your friends about her do they know whoo you're talking about???

  • Love this

  • @collegeri yes it is. Maybe it is both

  • @michaelswidow sad story-is stevie the infanta? or the dwarf? food for thought.

  • @michaelswidow I just read this story and didn't know about it until you pointed it out. Thanks so much. I knew the song was tragic and i totally got it's meaning. However, the story is inspiring and i can see how Stevie could be inspired by it. So dark. Thanks again :)

  • @nytbrd This song was based on a story by Oscar Wilde ( a Stevie fav ) called The Birthday of the Infanta. Read it and it will make sense and you will be able to appreciate the beauty of this song
