  • @11bravo1789 - dangerous jobs like being an infantryman prepare you for life decisions. most of the time we dont have time, but our decisions are quick and final. being able to lead soldiers into battle and the skills you learn along the way are always more affective then being in a class room all day. im not saying anything against kids that went to college but our leaders aren't in washington, not in yale, not in the public board room. they are in the battlefield. ne desit virtus.

  • @11bravo1789 - im proud of you congratulations... that must have been tough

  • I have alot of respect for 187. Jumped into Korea. ..OEF, Anaconda, OIF Inv. This is a Killer unit. Possibly our best Infantry BN in the Army. Id put 2/7 Cav. 187, as the top two Infantry BN's in our Army, and NO I wasnt in Either. I respect both though, We had an NCO PCS to our PLT from 187, and the guys Field Knowledge was INSANE. I thought I was a good NCO, but this guy knew his shit. Sgt. Hannah, Hooah. 11B OIF / Drill Sgt/ AASLT.

  • @MrPelhambay Im proud to say that I got the Academic Award for the entire class, im not bragging on me personally. Im not smart, But My time as an NCO , going to Boards e/5 e/6 SM / NCO of the month boards, I know how to study. I know how to process information, so yeah I was proud. It was intimidating the first day of class everybodys like "i have a Bachelor's from A&M, I have a MBA from John J. College' ect.. "I was an Infantryman for 8 years"...Anyways lol. Go Infantry.

  • @MrPelhambay I recently went to a Federal Police Acadmey at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC). The academy was full of College Graduates, BA's / MBA's in Criminal Justice. I was one of 3 people of 48 who was not a college grad, in fact I have NO COLLEGE. Or Prior Police Experience. However I do have a CIB, and an EIB, and a Drill Sergeant Badge. I wasnt worried about PT, but the written exams' upon arrival. Im proud to say that me, 8 years 11B took the Academic Award .

  • @mrabs1978 You are Correct. P.O.G. Personell Other then Grunt.

  • @rak187 how can you criticize someone's spelling when you said "your a grunt". It's "you're" as in you are. And Pogue is phonetically correct, but the original acronym I am led to believe is P.O.G.

    Douche.

  • @Frodo1423

    Ghetto-Akon

  • @frankysmithy - well maybe not most but when other mos's refer to infantry they usually only mention 11bravo, but yeah we got 11c and even 19d too, but u probably know that
