@goodintentions002 ...when you say this, then I would open up this video again to find out that my entry already is one year old and that you are right with Titus.
I would appreciate if they always note the scripture he is referring to in these glimpses of his sermons.

I can find no difference in myself and anyone who is at this very moment in Hell, except for GODs sovereign choice and effectual work of salvation by grace alone. I am not smarter, or wiser, or more virtuous and I know full well that without the indwelling HOLY SPIRIT I could not even understand the scriptures. I am humbled, broken and made contrite over HIS divine choice and, as with all the saints, will glorify the LORD forever for HIS mercies for HIS mercies endure forever.

This is wonderful. More people need to know this: that it is not what we do but what He did for us. No matter how much you try, strive, pray, read your Bible, you cannot EARN what He has given as a free gift. So stop striving! Just stop it! Look to Him. Rest in what was done for you on the cross. Now we are free to love and enjoy Him forever, to be changed to be more and more like Jesus. Not by our own power but by the hand of God! Hallelujah! Praise His name!

This man knows what salvation is all about. Thank God that there are still people that he saves. Salvation is of the Lord. an loves to think that he is responsible for his deliverance. That the natural way of thinking. But thanks be to God he has shown me that Gospel light to know what grace really means. Freely given means that even if I have to ask for it salvation is not free.
