  • no sat delivery no sat collection . yeah sounds like good bussiness. he says he`s talk to the union and the union says he`s nuts.this knucklehead must be out of his mind.going to 5 day delivery only means that if things don`t work out we can go to a 4 day delivery than 3 and then you`ll have a part time job.

  • The outlook is dismal. When many Americans are waiting anxiously for their Social Security or unemployment checks to arrive in the mail, cutting back mail service doesnt seem like a popular idea to many lawmakers.

No one has even introduced legislation to enact five-day delivery. In fact, one pending House resolution, HRes 173, expresses the sense of the House that the Postal Service should do everything possible to ensure six-day delivery.

  • As of 9-14 via federal times website.

One measure that has virtually no chance of passing this fall would

Allow the Postal Service to cut back to five-day mail delivery.

Postal Service officials have been pleading with Congress to approve five-day mail delivery to reduce operating expenses.

  • MAINTAIN SIX DAY DELIVERY- SAVE JOBS, SAVE OUR SERVICE. This has to be approved by Congress first. The unions are all against it, but Mr. Donahoe talks about it like it's final. Let's not rush into it.
