My 100th upload HAD to be something special. Footage from opening night in Philadelphia, Lynda's hometown. Enjoy Diana, Scherrie & Lynda performing 'Reflections', 'Come See About Me' and 'Back In My Arms Again' from the songbook of the greatest female trio the world has ever known. Supremes Forever. Stoned Love, Steve.x
@wonderboyjoy Wonderboy - You obviously were'nt around in the years The Supremes were still in the charts. All of these singles did very well - Up The Ladder, Stoned Love, Nathan Jones, Floy Joy, Automatically Sunshine, River Deep (w/4 Tops) You Gotta Have Love In Your Heart (w/4 Tops) now THAT's a bigger collection of chart successes that many similar style/format acts could only dream of such as The Emotions/LaBelle/Sister Sledge etc, etc...

@Drillin4Oil well i am a huge supremes fan and the shock to mary and her diana hating fans was that the two girls on this tour were BETTER yes BETTER that florence and mary. this tour was brilliant from what i have seen.

@wonderboyjoy people keep over estimating the new supremes of the early 70's. they had a few songs that sounded great but they were not big money spinners world wide. over here the albums got bad reviews because there was no focus...just like pre diana as lead days. i don't think the supremes had any major charting hits here in the 70's. though i kept buying their albums just hoping they would do ok.

@SpazChat But it could never be the real supremes..florence dropped deed and mary and cindy were only ever billed as diana ross and the supremes, not the supremes. i bloody wish the hateful people over there had let this tour happen. i was looking for it touring the world. it sounded brilliant to me. and scherrie and linda were fab.

@MrJamzyboi , That may be true, but with Diana in the 1960's they racked up 7 no. 1 consecutive worldwide. hits. No amount of Post Diana Supremes can match that.

@spintation Uh Hello? What would your definition of a real Supreme be exactly. Lynda joined in 1972, and Scherrie in 73. You seem to forget that all 8 ladies had hits after Diana left, all recorded on the Motown label as the Supremes. They are the real Supremes you twit.
