Drawn To Life- Ending

So this is the Ending part of the game Drawn to Life.
To sum it all up, it's this:
-Jowee is leaving the town with the Pirate Crew. Mari runs off and thinks about your adventures here and good stuff about the village. Jowee decides to not go on his adventure and goes back to see Mari. You and the spirit of the Mayor are watching them from a cliff.

What happens after Mike interigates Heather in like his dream or whatever it was did he go back to Earth, was it just a dream are they all alive, what happens to Heather, why does he ask those questions, is the ending what Jowee and Mari saw in Wilfre's lair, I HAVE THESE AND MORE QUESTIONS?

@OriginalSynnister Yeah I know I didn't really get it with interigating Heather I hope they make a third somehow because I felt sad. This ending and it's ending were litterally sad. But the Second Ones was really sad and it didn't explain everthing and it left us hanging with a sad story.
