The Day of Ashura (عاشوراء transliteration: ʻĀshūrā, Ashura, Ashoura, and other spellings) is on the 10th day of Muharram in the Islamic calendar and marks the climax of the Remembrance of Muharram.

It is commemorated by the Shia as a day of mourning for the martyrdom of Husayn ibn Ali, the grandson of the Islamic prophet Muhammad at the Battle of Karbala on 10 Muharram in the year 61 AH (October 10, 680 AD).

This guy teaches ignorance thinking Jesus has anything to do with islam. islam does not recognize Jesus for who He actually was nor did Jesus reform Christianity. Imam Hussain told the Yazids army that if you don't have religion at least be free men, meaning don't sell your soul to the devil by helping the evil tyrant, stand up for the truth and what is right. Yes Imam Hussain represents, Justice, freedom, Love for God, Standing for the truth even when you know you may get killed by standing for the truth, oppress non and never be oppressed, As Imam Hussain said it is better to die a bloody death than to live like a coward.

In regards to your comments towards me, Firstly I appreciate the humbleness that you answered with. Secondly, I am not saying all shia are bad but the twelver shia in all commit shirk and bidah. Most shia do not know there religion. Matam and Mutah are bidah...calling on anyone besides Allah is shirk akbar...read the Quran and you will see. These are just some I chose to mention but in fact, even shia scholars are said to know the ghrayb..video proof of that on youtube.
