On Friday, April 18, 2008, at 4:38am, I was awaken by a 5.4 earthquake, that was centered in West Salem, Illinois. This earthquake shook St.Charles, Missouri, where I live. Later at 10:15am., we experienced an aftershock. After the aftershock, I called WSFA TV 12, back in my hometown, in Montgomery, Alabama, to tell them my story. Sally Pitts, a reporter from WSFA, was interested in an on the air phone interview with me. The news story was aired at 6:00pm that night.
Anyway. Here is the interview.
Feel free to leave me comments and feedback, if you would like.

Well, in Illinois it was a tremor. My bedroom walls were shaking, my bed was shaking, the windows were shaking. And it went on longer than a minute. It was exciting, though. I also felt the aftershock at 10:30. That was one weird Friday :)
