Ananta opens a new chapter in SEIKOs history.
SEIKO Ananta is a landmark collection whose arrival heralds an important new step forward for the whole SEIKO brand.
It is the first Elite Collection designed for the luxury watch market.
It is the first Elite Collection to be marketed both internationally and in Japan.
It includes 2 new calibers.
It is the first Elite Collection to include Spring Drive,
and, most importantly,
It is the first SEIKO collection to showcase SEIKOs high-grade mechanical watchmaking artistry.
Superb looking watches, the finishing in particular is excellent. The production facilities seem way ahead of almost any of the european makers. I have two Seamasters including a PO, and I would definitley trade it in for one of these.
I prefer the automatics to the spring drives, as I dont reckon they are a truly mechanical watches but either way they are superb, and the 8R movement looks like one of the best chrono movements you can buy ( without spending a fortune ).

Epson is owned by Seiko. The Seiko Group owns many businesses that produce varied products, from watches and printers to musical instruments and medical components.

Beautiful watch. Although I don't know why they said it was a watch studio when the building had EPSON (the printer company!) on the outside.
