  • so stimulate the use of carbon dioxide from the air or from pollutants to use it in new applications. That is more positive than asking money for the amount you produce.

Because taxing for CO2 production does not help, it will decrease the oil price, and that drop in oil price compensates the cost for taxes.

  • It is quite amazing how you do not seem to get that real problems need real solutions. If you have weed in your garden you may pull it out by the root. If a burglar comes into your house you don't allow him to stay (putting it mildly). Yet this clear endangerment of an entire industry on you and your children and your childrens children very ability to survive you want to counter by looking elsewhere..

  • for example use it as a refrigerant like it was in the old days. So condense it first.

  • Good ideas, no doubt. Holland has a project of reuse of CO2 exhaust for fertilizing algae which in turn feed shrimp at the 'happy schrimp farm'..

  • so maybe start one against Al Gore for the opposite reason.

  • But of course you'd have no convincing evidence to back your plea ;-)

  • on the wikipedia, there are numerous examples for use of CO2. For example making polymers (those are solids, that CO2 will never leave). wikipedia also says is that nowadays CO2 concentration in air is in fact not enough for the plants to really grow. So of course you do not want to increase that concentration in the air. But in closed greenhouses concentrations could be much higher, optimised for maximed growth of plants. And at that high levels germs and insects die no chemicals needed.

  • They should make use of the CO2 production in factories, which already happens. CO2 of the exhausts of factories is transfered to greenhouses (so the real greenhouses) and plants go better there. Place CO2 consumers next to producers. Try to find more CO2 consumers.

  • And bioethanol also costs a lot of crude oil for making it (the machinery involved uses petrol and such). Also plants that can be used for food are used for making bioethanol. Or maybe i a m badly informed, who knows.

What about humans, the are polluters because they breathe, and what about animals, they do too.

  • why do i constantly hear that humans are only responsible for 3 percent of CO2 emissions?

Maybe climate is changing, but what can you do if only this small amount is caused by people. And what about what i hear that water vapor is much more responsible for climate change than CO2? And methane gas is also much more strong i heard.
