  • One of the most beautiful places in the States. It is so spiritual that it practically hits you over the head as soon as you see it. Unless you have been there you cannot know what I am talking about. So GO.

  • @litiumleap, please don't encourage people to try to avoid the usage fees. The Paiute Tribe aren't a wealthy bunch of people, and that revenue helps keep them afloat, as well as taking care of this beautiful Lake.

I went there back in late 2009 and it was one of the most beautiful natural sites I've ever visited.

  • @james123q if you love this lake then you would really love lake tahoe

  • i love this lake. i am from michigan where there are many lakes great and small, but this one is different. it is warm and salient. great for swiming. what i like best is that there is no develpment on the lake. it is what has always been. i hope it stays that way.

  • I love my lake!! Cui ui tukuduh!

  • Godss I really want to go back to this place. I used to go every weekend

  • @lithiumleap Tahoe is freezing, but Pyramid has perfect water temperatures. I love it!

  • @DenimZero pyramid is way better than Tahoe. You can have some privacy at pyramid if you know the lake. Tahoe is full of bitchy Californian women and guys that would fit perfectly into a Nike, Adidas, or Abercrombie commercial. There are way more cops at Tahoe too which puts some challenges on the underage drinking thing. If you know what your doing you can go to pyramid and not pay for your camping permit, party, and not get pestered.

  • haha my friend used to live in reno and she always said that she hated pyramid lake because she almost drowned there everytime she went and there were snakes and a huge drop-off haha so i dont think i'll take the chance of drowning and dealing with drunk natives, no matter how "beautiful" it is :)

  • wow we have some stupid local from your words. get out and experience life before you trash something you don't even know about. and us locals use open mine shafts to dump the body's.
