a free-wheeling blade could alternate from one side to the other.....but....a blade from which power is tapped might offer a greater resistance and therefor not alternate from side to side.. thanx
interesting. I like your counterweight idea. Above the water mirroring the action of the blade through a reverse gear i understand? Perhaps you might also consider the blade could change pitch at the top dead centre so that you dont have to worry about wave height. Same blade could have corrected attitude for both sides
