She is a soulless manufactured pop star, she can't sell out because she began as a product, not an artist or musician.
I personally am not a fan of the band, but Nichol's concept album about "The Blood Meridian" is basically a perfect album, even if McCarthy basically wrote the damn thing.

what really pisses me off is how the spoiled assholes like britney spears, and all the other famous girls who have accomplished nothing get all the glory, and Lucero has written some of the greatest songs ever in my opinion, and isnt nearly as well known. Suck my balls everybody.

The thing that makes Lucero so great is that all their songs come from the heart. At least that's what I think. Being from a small southern town a lot of the subject matter in their songs hits hard and being a guitarist and singer, with a similar vocal style to Ben's, I identify even more. Sorry for taking up so much of your time.
