@DianaSebzda I would love to give you a call, sadly I'm in the UK. But I will take a look at some of those search terms you've given me, so thank you so much for even taking the time to help me with what you can. I really appreciate it. I found a little solace in learning about the Rainbow Bridge. Thank you for your reply xx

Thank you for this.

Having just lost my cat about a day ago, I think I'd break someone's jaw for telling me to just get over it. It's like losing a child or your own arm.

This was good stuff. It was understandable. I lost my cat Charlie and i had him for 4 years and we bonded strongly. He was like a little brother to me and stuff...which made it harder for me to grieve..and its actually my first time feeling grief..and u know what they say "the first time is always the hardest." and it is. it felt like someone cut me open and stuff...and i felt so much hatred and rage..and sadness and depression. so it was all kinds of emotions. :(

thank you. we just lost our family cat, she was nearly 17 years old. we made the decision to have her put to sleep it was one of the hardest times of my life being with her in her final moments. i love her so much. you are a lovely person.
I have to admit that I've never had a huge bond with my two dogs that I lost in the last 2 years...but I went through a HUGE amount of grief when I lost them. Now after so long...the pain of losing them has hit me again and it's even deeper. I just don't know what to do now. I think I'm stuck.

@MiharuArakawa Hi Miharu, I would need some more info to be able to help you the best I can. Please feel free to give me a call at my office - 973-940-0411. If you're not comfortable doing so, you can research "emotional triggers in grief," "complicated grief," "pet loss," and "disenfranchised grief" to try to find some answers that may be helpful. I'm keeping you in my thoughts! Diana
