PTSD That fellow would have been a great ally to Frank in the zombie apocalypse of Willamette. Traumatic events in the present day can cause soldiers and marines to relive past war horrors and they don't even realise it. I'm glad they showed him in a sympathetic light at the end when he'd come to his senses. The Dead Rising series can really surprise you with a lot of heart...and not just hearts pulled from chests.
