Look, if I try to learn the song, which I do--it's a great one--it puts me off when your mouth (lol) is going in some other direction.

@despinne - that´s exactly what my wife says !

Thankfully, I have not had this happen on a stage. But of course, there is always someone to tell you, either by look or comment. I have NO complaints with your music!

@despinne If i was truly bothered that my performance must be spot on , I would never have uploaded the video! I love the imperfections of performance and some of the biggest and funniest things that have ever happened to me onstage, came out of screwing things up. Regading ´crib ´sheets - i use them once or twice live, then toss them and hope my memeory retains the song - but sometimes...aaarrggghh..!
Thank for giving me a chance to think about my approach to this. Great YT feedback. Thanks

Too bad you didn't learn the words or at least have a crib sheet.

@despinne you´re right ! There´s nothing worse than blanking out in front of an audience, but, you just keep going no matter what. Mistakes and screw ups are part of the beauty of live performance. I do know the poem vebatim, along with lots of other Burns´s work, ( I MC at Burns Suppers ! ) nevertheless, here, I went blank a couple of times.
How do you handle blanking out, when it happens to you ?
