I show off the MK1 Hovertank in Garry's Mod.
Edit: I look back on this and realize how much my cockpit sucks.. now that i have a bit more experience i may redo the hovertank so that its faster, stronger, and less bouncy. also gonna make the cockpit more like an actual tank cockpit instead of the crap it is now.

  • its from c&c kanees whrath

  • No.

  • I've been saying it for a year (or two, feels like forever since I made this video), but I actually am working on a hover tank that makes this one look like a loaf of bread. Not just physical appearance but the hover system as well. Been testing numerous possible systems but haven't perfected any as of yet =[ I'm hoping to finish one that is truly worthy of youtube by the end of Jan. Look forward to it! ^_^

  • that was pretty cool but, no main cannon really lowers it's offensive capabilitys

  • what do you mean by "no main cannon"? the main cannon is half the size of the tank itself. its the big cannon looking thing poorly strapped onto the side of the box i called a cockpit. its kinda hard to miss it really, even if it does suck...

  • how do u use the camera with the screen? i can never get how to do it lol

  • I used Fraps v2.6.4

  • To put it simply. It has no missile launcher.

  • But will it blend?

  • small anti inftary tank

  • will it blend?

  • The size of the cannon is irrelevant to its firepower. What about making this a bit explosive?

  • i want a boat tank

  • @isveryniceyes If he fired a cannon, the same amount of force that pushes the cannon-round forwards, would equally push the hover-tank backwards, and with no ground friction, the tank would crash into what ever was behind it. "For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction."

Although if made you made it so that it only fired the cannon when it was planted on the ground it might work. It only needs to hover to get over obstacles. When it's not moving, it doesn't need to hover.

  • @Matrilwood He could put stabilizers on it that reach out the back sortof like how drag cars have those things that stop them from doing wheelies.

  • @isveryniceyes It's called Newton's law. You see how much kick-back a tank gets when it fires its cannon. Now imagine if the tank was NOT attached to the ground.

  • @Krimstar Its a real shame how all the crappy contrapions get the "oh hey thats amzing" and "wow I wish I could do that" when it just a load of crp held together with invisble (somethimes visible) balloons and hoverballs. And all of the good ones, i.e.

the hover tank, get loads of critisism.
