Yeah its slow and it LAGs alot!
I suggest you to choose other phones as G900 is not very durable. My G900 have went for 2 repairs since i bought it.

Thanks!! I bought the G700, I was soon fed up with the symbian, then fixed my old K800i which I use again, and I gave the G700 as a gift to a friend!!

@toy2day G705 if you're looking forward for some basic phone function with high reliability. G900 for more advance function since it's a smartphone.
-
@khangerz Yes you can, and it works like a charm!

@francisangeloz Im a G900 user, no it's not as lag as you might thought. Only if you stacked up the inbox to 1000+ messages and it will cause quite a lot of lag when trying to read the messages.
But, I'm not quite recommend this phone to anyone. The reliability of this phone is questionable (especially messaging problem). Besides that, everything works pretty well. Keep in mind that it's running UIQ3 OS, which Sony Ericsson had gave up. In another words, not much new softwares, no updates.

i heard this phone kinda slow and lag, esp its touchscreen..
is it true??
i was planning to buy this phone...
any opinion from g900 user??
I need help. I've bee looking at some reviews. They say the phone takes while to load text messages and more. Is it true? I'm planning to get this phone myself.

it's pretty fast on mine. if you have too many programs running the background, the UI will be pretty slow
