Here is some BigLama videos. Some beautiful flying at the yard, and plenty of crashes too.
I have love/hate relationship with BigLama. If you take it nice and easy, it's a fun heli to fly. But if you expect it to do anything more, it doesn't ! It took great time to accept the limitations of this heli. But now I like it, and it has it's place in my hobby.
Some say BigLama is amazingly steady ... it's NOT ! It basicly works like you'd expect from a coaxial heli. But comparing such as Lama V3/V4 wich you can't easily get out of control... BigLama thumbles down fairly easily !
Beginner advice: Do additional battery mount to the heli, so you can get it nose-heavy if you need. That increases the stability and you can also fly in light head wind better. And that is LIGHT wind, just a breeze ! It won't hurt to use training gear either at the begining, can save you from trouble.
Anyways, if you gonna get one of these, go ahead ! It'll be fine... but if you wanna take your hobby outside, concider single rotor helicopter ! Really ain't impossible to fly, check my other videos for more about that.
Thanks for watching and have fun with the hobby !
we are from norway.
yust a gang rc entusiats.
but i recordement too uppgrade the big lama.
buy the extended shaft, and hbfp heatsinks on the motors.
you can also buy the super baldes.
they are more flexible but aint so good for sport flying.
5/5 for good flying

I don't really fly Big Lama so much anymore, I'm trying to get hang of single rotors now. But I saw one video you had flagged favourite about Big Lama with those mods, and damn it flew really really fast and agile ! Made me think it might not be a bad idea to really mod it :)

FlyCamOne2. It's light, has fine quality and seems durable too :)

hehe, well, once you get to know the weak spots and avoid sudden movements it's fine... speed looks much greater in video, it's only crawling really :)
