You left out this verse: "My sin, o the bliss of this glorious thought. My sin-not in part-but the whole-is nailed to the cross and I bear it no more. Praise the Lord, praise the Lord! O my soul!!

to have gone through that and to still have the strength to praise God. if only we all could be like that.

One of my favorites. I hear this song echoing in my thoughts as I come through hard times feeling alone, scared, lost, or hopeless. But, praise God that someday the trump shall resound and the Lord descend, and we will all say it is well!

This is what someone has gone through in his life and yet he praises God, in all our trials and difficulties lets give God the glory and praise His name.

I shed tears because I never know the origin of the hymn before till I heard it and watch it today with all the details. Praise God for Jesus because no one else can give such inner hope, joy and peace except JESUS.
