  • Just gotta do one quick step before export next time: Apply default audio transition to all the cuts... make the default something quick like 10-frames... but even then, the quick cross fades will prevent any of the sound-edits from sounding to harsh.

  • @JPizzle1122 Hmm. I've seen you do that before, but it never really crossed my mind do that for jump-cuts. I'll try it next time. Thanks for the advice.

  • Excellent job on editing Jory's latest mail video, Aaron! I really love Adobe editing software and hope to someday own Premiere CS5 or one of the versions. anyway, I particularly like the special effects you did for his video when the screen looks like it's broken/damaged! Well done!

  • @jeremyshaw Thank you! I'm not sure what software you use now, but you could always start out with Premiere Elements ($100, dft[DOT]ba/-1klt). I started out with Windows Movie Maker and eventually upgraded to Sony Vegas ($50-$600, dft[DOT]ba/-1klF). I switched to CS5 a few months after I bought my iMac.

  • how long was the raw footage

  • @TrippenWaldo About an hour.

  • @dancingbananaprod You're welcome! I'm just being honest with you, man. Yea, unfortunately, I'm still stuck with Windows Movie Maker >=( =P. I'll look into Premiere Elements and then go from there. I've been working with one version of Adobe PhotoShop or another for years now and I wanna learn/practice with its video editing software now. I've tried my hand with Sony Vegas and normally I trust Sony stuff pretty well but it just didn't work out. Money's an issue at the moment =(

  • *huggles* Awesome job~! >w<

  • Nice Work
