Block Buster. It's two words - how could ANY Sweet fan get that wrong?

@RCbeastly Hello my freind. My book is primarily a British book though it sold worldwide. The spelling is PERFECTLY correct for the UK and most other countries. Germany prefered the two word spelling and perhaps your own Australia . I´m happy to put you right with this information. Thanks for your interest. Brian Manly, Brian Connolly´s biographer.

@0belly9 It seems though, that most of the sleeves of the sinlges used "Block Buster", which is a direct representation of the lyrics. The labels in the discs themselves may have had "Blockbuster" yet there is no reference to a "Blockbuster" in the lyrics, rather, "Buster" is a character of whom all are in fear and are trying to "block".
Whatever the case, I've known it as "Block Buster" for nearly forty years, and the lyrics and the singles sleeves definitely bear this out.

@RCbeastly Thanks for your reply. A Blockbuster was of course a WW2 bomb too, capable of destroying a whole block (street) and it is probable that the whole thing was a typical Chinn-Chapman play on words and also used the familiar phrase as a way to increase the hook of the song. The song was listed on the UK charts as Blockbuster and appears on all UK released material as Blockbuster. The second later Sweet biog Block Buster, the true story of Sweet went for the German market .
