@cbyram93 agreed, I'm playing it now and so far it's an under appreciated little gem. Even as an animated movie it looks damned good. Really makes me wish Bethesda had gotten to Vampire:Bloodlines instead of Activision.

Has unique atmosphere and everything else at well, It is scary, but only at times, It's so goddamn interesting and no game has kept me going like this one. Every corner is interesting, if not scary like Silent Hill or Fatal Frame.
This is NOT a jumper.

I completed this game last week. It's good but pretty buggy, but it has unique gameplay. The only parts that made me jump were bits when the camera jumped to closeups of horribly mutilated bodies (Ramona's dad in innsmouth jail, the hanging woman, the crew members of the cutter urania after being mauled by deep ones, etc). There was one part which scared the hell out of me and that was the flying polyp fight. Brilliant game

@cbyram93 actually scratch that, this is false jeopardy on rails. I'm in the hotel, can't sleep in another room because 'that's not my bed' - you're in mortal danger dumbass. And I can't slide the wardrobe away from the door because 'I might wake the other guests' even though there is no chance of there being any. So I have to put myself where the level designer wants me for No Good Reason. And our 1920s private dick didn't think to take a gun with him. Looks great, plays like a screensaver.

@gedq The escape is very tedious but it gets much better after you reach Jailbreak.
