This isnt meant to show how to steal rims. Its meant to show how to take the lugs off if you lost your key for them.

stupid ass previous owner put wheel locks on stock alloy rims for a pontiac g5 coupe. dumby didnt even have the key when i bought the car. assistance would be great
-
can yu use the same socket for the other 3 rims, or do you need 4 sockets... no video says anything about that
-
Must be a world record :)

Hmm this works, but you risk stripping the thread, and you will mess up the socket and lock-nut. Good for an emergency though...

bought a car 4 days ago that had been sitting in a paddock for 2 years. No key for the lock nuts......tried this and had them all off in less than 3 minutes using only the one socket which is now back in my toolbox. Just amazing......scarey actually.

can ijust say, thiswould never workif the bolt/nut was tightened properly,
also trust me that method dont work, i had to get the proper lazer wheelnut remover set, mine were so tight not even the tool could undo them,

Just tried it on mine - the outer just spins! Works fine for cheap shit locking nuts... maybe.
That wasn't even tight,

I remember doing this on my buddies car, he lost his key to remove the rim. He told me to remove all the tires it's a bitch to remove the lock from the socket once it's out

Just put it on a scree driver with the head going through the square end and bash it or supprisingly enough throw it at the floor, the shock release it..

I used a hardened steel whitworth socket that was slightly smaller than the locking nut. Forced it on with a 5lb mallet and then gave a sharp jolt on a torque wrench to try and minimize slipage..
