Dr. Michael Stephens and the 47th Library Week Programs

Dr. Michael Stephens who is currently Assistant Professor in the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at Dominican University visited Istanbul for a series of programs during the 47th Library Week Programs.



After attending the 47th Library Week opening ceremony, Dr. Stephens gave a lecture on "Social Media Applications in Education-Embracing the 21st Century Learner" at Sabancı University Communications Center to information professionals and teachers.

During his visit Dr. Stephens also gave lectures at the Istanbul National Education Directorate and Istanbul University Faculty of Communications to R&D Unit members, project trainers, faculty members, students, teachers and information professionals.



The Innovative Library Initiatives Promotion Group's Information Literacy Project events are organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Education Istanbul Directorate and supported by the U.S. State Department Fund for Innovation.
