I began writing this song on a beach near where I live. Aldeburgh is on the East coast of England and home to famous composer Benjamin Britten. I sat on the beach opposite his old house and looked down to the next village along where I could see the church rising above the trees. This inspired the bell imitation at the opening and the song developed from there!

The tuning for this song is DADGAD and played on my 1995 Lowden O23 I have a new CD coming out soon so please check my website for when it will be available.
