25 Man Instructor Razuvious: Priest-Mage Strategy

Gosu of Bladefist uses a priest MC/mage tank combination to kill Razuvious. The priest MC'd an understudy until its shield went down at which point the mage took over until the priest was ready to MC another understudy and taunt him off. Mage tank PoV.

i see you had the mage spellsteal the bone shield from the rider while the priest refreshed. thing is for somereason i cant steal the bone shields off the riders in 25 man so i dont belive you can do this anymore

That is correct. This strategy is no longer viable because Blizzard made Bone Armor immune to Spellsteal. It was hotfixed immediately after a mage was able to entirely solo the Military Quarter of Naxx 25 with it. :)

im a shadow priest, its cool finally priests have something important to do in a raid.... i wish they dont remove it..

Mages can no longer be used to Spellsteal tank the Understudies. This was fixed in a patch. At least Blizz will be adding 2 MC crystals in 25 man to have the need for MC priests removed!
