http://live.pirillo.com - I have talked many times in the past about how critical it is to regularly back up your computer data. Here are some excellent tips sent in by a community member, to help you decide what to back up, when to back up, and HOW to back up.

  • great tips but remember not to defrag an ssd. An ssd fragmenting has no negative effect on speed but defragging an ssd has a negative effect on the life of your ssd. Keep that in mind

  • I like that the guy recommends you the best way to back up information but he doesn't really show you how to go about it.

  • im getting a new computer, can i basically stick my harddrive into the new computer and EVERYTHING will be on the new computer like the windows 7 OS my data etc? and can i then move and use these files? Also it wont slow down the new comptuer will it becuase of the harddrive being older? sorry bit of a newb at this lol
