@straysquid It is a great camera. Of course today you have a 50D and now a 60D but I still love mine. I don't feel I have reached the limits of my 40D yet. Happy shooting!!

Would you still recommend a 40d? They have them on ebay for just under 500.

@Recon9143 I still love my 40D. So much that it can do that I haven't even begun to use yet. It will be a long time before I get rid of it. Unless I start booking more weddings for more money then maybe a 5D mark 2.

@jjdaven 7d are damn expensive . 40d and 50d are an excellent choice for those who want a strong great camera over the entry level at a budget price.
