I'm not really sure of the relevance. It just felt right. It's always been ok and always will be ok with Cisco
I guess maybe it's more about myself. Lately I've been kicking my ass trying to get my act together and I finally realized how far I've come in riding in the past two months, yet I've never been more upset with my riding. The whole thought of maybe I'm just not good enough and never will be good enough crosses my mind constantly. The whole thing about 'what if this doesn't work. I can't do anything else but ride.' always comes up whenever I'm riding without working on something.

But you know what?
Screw it.
I'm happy doing whatever on a horse with whatever I like, spontaneously swinging leg, too forward seat, sitting back too soon landings, getting my ass too far out of the saddle on the tack offs, and all.
Course I'm still going to work on my eq, but I'm promising myself to stop beating myself up about it. (Let's see how long that lasts.)

As always, Cisco will make it better.

I love this, really speaks out to me, I had a car crash 3 years ago causing me severe back damage & I can't advance any more in my riding, a year at college sorted out most of my problems so I now ride properly but I lose control of my right leg & can't use it, in cold weather I have problems riding & lose my position, I have to have super odd stirrups to balance myself. I spent months beating myself up, i can never event or do dressage, but now, who cares, I'm doing it for me, noone else

Gabby, you are one of the best riders I've ever seen! You shouldn't beat yourself up about it! You are an AMAZING rider!!! And whatever you think your not good enough for, whether it's a dream to ride in the EQ Olympics (my dream), or traveling around the world for international horse shows, soon, you'll get there! And I'm sure Cisco will get you through whatever you are going through. Your riding is some of the best I've seen, and I've seen international riders ride!

-it's tough when out of a four person lesson, you're the one who seems to having the most problems because she's pointing all of them out so I can get my act together, unlike the others in my lesson who tend to just have a few things picked at :P

I mean, I'm grateful for it and a few months ago I wanted more of a push from my trainer, but it gets to you lol

Yea, lately it's just been such a thing of me honestly believe I'm some horrible, horrible rider. Admittedly, I'm not the best and I couldn't count all my constant faults on both hands, but I'm a hell of a rider when I can make myself concentrate. My trainer has just been really hard on me lately because she said she can see the potential so she's trying to push me more and get me there. I appreciate it, but-
