Woman aren't materialistic, some like to work and be with familys. Plus men can be materialistic ALOT, my friend says I'm worse to go shopping with than his mum because I can spend 1 hour in a shop and not get bored. I'm materialistic I admit it, so it's not just women.

It is nice to see a man's perspective, however in my observation this is b.s. Most of the women I know, educated or not, broke or well paid, are CARRYING their men. A lot of men aren't growing up these days and women are taking on the role of their mamas. Meanwhile, the men who have managed to become adults snub their noses at women who have the audacity to assume he might want to BUY her dinner every once in a while. Everyone's stuck.
