I enjoy your reviews.

If the Commuter provides excellent protection yet does not provide the slim design you mention, then is there such thing as a 5 out of 5 rated case? It seems that there can be no compromise in order to get a 5 out of 5.

Unless there is some revolutionary material that provides superior shock/drop protection in an ultra thin design yet remain pocket friendly and durable, I can't imagine giving a case, 5 out of 5.

@Andrewterrorist You're wrong, Iphone 4's are actually used by military snipers now, and many case makers have been commissioned to make heavy-duty all weather cases for the iphone4 by the US and Canadian armed forces.
