here in Slovakia they say, that Tiguan has its offroad fans. After this video, i am not sure that that car can go through nannys garden. what a piece of crap is it?

Good Heavens, when are VW fans going to learn? These are NOT off-road vehicles. They are all built on lower CG car platforms, and do not have the real off-road capability one would expect from something like an FJ or Liberty.

The Tiguan and Toureg are GREAT for bad weather driving, and handle extremely well on the road in virtually any condition.

However, a $20,000 Jeep Liberty with basic Command Trac II would spank the daylights out of this poor thing doing anything off-road.

The TDI is much better offroad than the TSI.You get a huge amount of torque at low revs so it's really easy not to spin your tires and you also get the power at lower revs.Every serious offroad vehicle has a diesel engine;it's just far more superior to the petrol.
