The current economic crisis is not a failure of capitalism, but a failure of culture. Generation Zero explores the cultural roots of the global financial meltdown - beginning with the narcissism of the 1960's, spreading like a virus through the self-indulgent 90's, and exploding across the world in the present economic cataclysm.

Generation Zero goes beneath the shallow media headlines and talking head sound bites to get to the source of today's economic nightmare. With a cutting edge style and haunting imagery, this must see documentary will change everything you thought you knew about Wall Street and Washington.

Featuring experts, authors, and pundits from across the political spectrum, Generation Zero exposes the little told story of how the mindset of the baby boomers sowed the seeds of economic disaster that will be reaped by coming generations.

  • That's why tea partiers are Fed up with the republican party as well, we are not indifferent to spending at all, but if you only watch msnbc/cnbc/cnn you wouldnt know it.

the damage bush did is inexcusable, but your wrong about Obama, he isn't any better, take a look at the debt numbers, obama in one year has done what took bush 8 years to acheive!

I'm fed up with these spending expansionist! this republican vs democrat rehtoric is just a side show to convince us to choose the lesser evil.

  • You had me going until the part about "Obama has the capacity to be the greatest President...". That douchebag doesn't have the capacity to go to the bathroom without getting shit on his hands.

  • Prudes always blame their problems on people having a good time. Nazis were prudes, Communists are prudes, conservatives are prudes, Muslims are prudes; where there's trouble you will always find PRUDES!!!!!!!

  • Liked the new Atlas Shrugged movie. Reminds me of our future.

  • George Soros had his Dirty fingers in that situation. He used it to help elect obammie.

  • I had more money in my checking account when I was 23 then you will acquire in your life.

My extended family has the ability and necessary means to literally buy you and every single person you know.

How could you possibly have discerned that I am a, I quote, "arrogant socialist"?

I implore you to start taking some reading comprehension courses at your local community college or visit braingames or lumosity dot com and start working on your overall intelligence.

  • @bpa619 I will never stop, not when arrogant socialist like yourself continue to envy the ritch and force your social justice over our individual rights.

  • THIS FILM THAT BLAMES BABY BOOMERS FOR THE ECONOMIC PROBLEMS CENTRAL BANKSTERS CAUSED IS ABSURD.

  • Read about US economics and/or what happened in 2000. Firemen, schools, and the library are not necessary... according to the constitution. I said I'd consider them prosperity but didn't want to "tit for tat," or rather, get into the definition of what prosperity (or even wealth) is... especially when you used it in such an ambiguous way. Regardless, please read better.

Wasteful is giving a basketball player who plays 80 minutes in a 5 month season 8 million dollars.

    Please stop.

  • @bpa619 I don't watch a lot of TV, most of it's pretty stupid.

How does one have a tax surplus if your still borrowing money and increasing the national debt?

While the military, firemen roads etc. are NECCESSARY, this is not wealth creation, Even at it's best it is just shifting wealth, add in power, politics pork, corruption, and it becomes VERY wastefull. 300$ for a hammer anyone?

  • It was a metaphor. Start watching The Simpsons, or develop a sense of humor... or be smarter.

DUhhhh... so tax surpluses and government contracts and the entire military don't count as "wealth"? And I'd consider schools, roads, the library, the dept. of commerce, the FDA, firemen, bridges, and a bunch of other shit "prosperity," but lets not tit for tat.

Even though you're (sort of) lying... what does this administration have to do with anything I said?

    The "few corrupt ones"?!!?

  • @bpa619 also, while you are correct that there are bad buisnesses, (my Philosophy is the larger the company the smaller the people) However you are wrong to judge the entire private sector on the few corrupt ones, the majority of bussissnes are small buisnesses that care about their customers. heck even most large ones care.

it's like your judging an entire nation by it's prision populations actions.

This kind of thinking, all buisness is greedy and evil is close to communist rethoric.
