Both versions in one, but "who dun it"
A bloke sells the world and not even a lousy CSI episode, let alone a Nuremberg hearing
Now Bowie was never a Cohen or a Dylan [or even a Jimmy Page] but I am sure he had something in mind when he wrote this.
I have my ideas, but I will remain silent for now.

The original version of 1970 by Bowie is mych more complex sonically and is not done justice by the really bad audio of this upload. Many people have done a cover of this song, but the excellent thing about the Nirvana one is that they respected its character, in contrast to others who have a bused it...

you mean download I think. At the time of upload [rendered at 128 kbps for audio in a proper wmv file] UTube squashed everything to about 350 total kbps, with only about 16 kbps [or 32 at most] for audio in a crappy flash file

Kurt didnt kill that generation he martyerd it. One of the last great singers, who actually felt some passion about the art of music. This generation now, a bunch of no talent nobodys!

Old farts view; Brilliant Bowie song and he sings it great, but Curt sings it better, but what the hell is gi'on on, all music on PC, ipod etc and the like, sounds SHIT. There is no depth, warmth or connection to the music. Recently bought one of these mass storage music devices, and transfered all my music onto it, what a complete waste of good money. Never heard songs, music sound so really, really bad.
