For Windows users, installing scripts using the CS4 Extension Manager can sometimes be difficult, with an error message about appropriate permissions. This video describes how to get around this frustrating problem.
You legend! You are truly, I was like "WTF" when I saw that I couldn't "Run as Administrator" for the actual extensions ("Materials" for Photoshop 3D) but this helped, thank you!
Thanks a million for this video. I was quite upset when this message came up, and i googled it; and there was your video! It worked the second time i tried it.
Thank you for your Help, I ran into a problem when Installing Flash CS5 Extension, I did the run as administrator and it didn't work, so what I did was close flash and run flash CS5 as administrator as well, then When I had both of them as Administrator it worked.
Didn't work. So close but a big fail. I'm using Win 7 and Photoshop CS5. Right clicked the extension manager, ran it as administrator, installed the plug in but still told me I wasn't good enough to perform the operation and I still had to ask my system administrator, which is me and even though I gave my self permission, I was still denied the pleasure of running the plug-in. I'm trying to run Pixel Bender.
Legend ... completely forgot about this from a previous issue ... thank you so much !
